A Life Built on Faith, Family, and Hard Work
About Mark
Mark Nichols grew up in Northeast Arkansas, where long days in the fields taught him the meaning of dedication and self-reliance. After attending Black River Technical College and earning a degree from the University of Arkansas, he spent his career improving communities through engineering projects that make Arkansas safer and stronger.
Today, Mark owns and operates a small transportation engineering firm and continues to serve his community through public service and church involvement. His Christian faith shapes his worldview, his leadership, and his commitment to protecting life, liberty, and local families.
Mark’s leadership extends beyond his profession. He has served on the Craighead County Library Board and volunteered in his church’s food pantry—seeing firsthand the challenges many Arkansas families face. Those experiences drive his belief that good government can help people succeed without creating dependency.
Mark and his wife, Stephanie, have been married for 18 years and are raising seven children in Randolph County. Together, they share a deep love for their community and a desire to see it thrive for generations to come.
“I’m a good listener and love talking to people. It would be my honor to represent and serve the people of District One.”
